This week we’re excited to feature Débora (aka @debbiecastle) from Barecelona, Spain. She works as a digital content manager in the fashion industry during the day, and she publishes a fantastic fashion blog in her free time.

We recommend following her ShopLook feed for fun and wearable style, and checking out her blog: https://debbiecastle.fashion/.

Check out some of our favorite sets from Débora’s feed and read her full Q&A below.

Favorite fashion decade?

I'm a huge fan of  70s fashion. That´s the most glamorous, sexy and daring period in fashion history. It's a decade that brought us style icons like Bianca Jagger, Debbie Harry, Diana Ross and Farrah Fawcett.

When you create a set, where do you start? What is the first item on your canvas?

First of all, I select the key garment of the outfit I've planned and then I add accessories, photography and other fillers so that the key garment stands out.

Describe your style in three words:

Classic, romantic and sophisticated.

How do you decide what to wear each day?

I try to plan in advance what I´m going to wear, but it depends on the weather, my schedule and, the most important, my mood.

What is something that you would never wear?

Dad sneakers. I remember wearing something like this when I was a child in the 80s.

When you create your sets, do you have yourself in mind?

I always create sets inspired by my everyday life. I think my outfits reflect my lifestyle, a woman over 40, hard-worker, mother and fashion lover.

What is something that you (almost) always include in your sets?

High heels! I love them!

What advice do you have for other users looking to improve their creative process?

My advice is: be yourself and let the imagination run free. There are a lot of talented and creative people here and it's amazing to see such different styles.

How long have you been creating sets?

I joined Shoplook community in March 2019, but was a Polyvore member since 2012.

You can find more of her stunning work in her ShopLook feed or on her blog.
