This week, we’re pleased to introduce you to Ashley from South Carolina - although you may know her as @pattimayo. She is among the best when it comes to leaving warm, encouraging comments on other users’ designs and her street style outfits are amazing.
What I love about the designs in her feed is that regardless of the fashion styles contained in her individual sets, her layouts always have a consistent, signature look. When you start a new design, where do you begin? What is the first thing on your canvas?
I begin with my FAVORITE FRAME I literally use this frame repeatedly.

Tell us about your fashion icons:
Aaliyah Haughton - she is a R&B singer from the 90s. I grew up admiring how she was a girl dressing like a tomboy and still being true to her feminine side... this is one reason I lovvvve STREET STYLE! I adore Alexander Wang as well he is the definition of edgy sexy chic and cool!
If you had to choose one thing to wear with every outfit for a week, what would it be?
A DENIM JACKET. I literally have DENIM and BLACK everywhere lol!
What is something that you would never wear?
Ruffles. I am really not a fan!
When you design a set do you have yourself in mind or someone else?
Yes I do reference myself when I create my sets. I ask myself where are you going and what would you wear to the event?? I am inspired by my favorite decades 20’s, 60’s, 70’s, 90’s and NOW these decades play a major part in what I create as well!
What is something that you (almost) always include in your designs?
Lashes, Mascara, Dark Lipstick, & Jewelry. These are MUST HAVES for me!
Do you have advice for someone looking to improve their creative process?
Stay TRUE to YOURSELF and be FREE! Stay POSITIVE and PERSISTENT with the process! ALWAYS try your BEST and REMEMBER to ALWAYS have FUN!!!
What makes a design one of your favorites?
I am a VIRGO so I am an analyzer. I love organization and I am very detailed! So my favorite sets just look polished and detailed! I love EDITORIAL, EDGY, SEXY COOL and CHIC LOOKS these are literally keywords to my personal style!

My wallpaper is my hubby & I. He is my rock.
What is a fun fact that others may not know about you?
My real name is Ashley (Patti comes from my middle name Patricia. Mayo comes from Patty Mayonnaise on the cartoon series “DOUG”. All of my friends call me PattiMayo lol confusing right?!
If you had to choose one album to listen to for a whole week, what would it be?
Boy in Space Album I love me some him!
What is something that you recently purchased and absolutely love?
Black High waisted wide legged pants that fit me like a glove! I am just waiting for the perfect event to wear them to.

Editorial Fashion Designer or CELEBRITY STYLIST

I have my own fashion Boutique.
What brought you to ShopLook and what keeps bringing you back?
I LOVE EDITORIAL FASHION it’s my EVERYTHING! ShopLook has its own community I feel like we are ALL family (which most of us are many miles apart this app has connected us together for this I am thankful). I have learned so much from a lot of users on ShopLook! I truly believe this app will begin new prosperous opportunities for users like myself! I made a promise to myself when Polyvore shut down that if I had another place where I could create I would create everyday! ShopLook is HEAVEN SENT!!!
